Dr Candice E Cox, LCSW, CCTP, CATP
Greetings! I'm Dr Candice Cox, Executive Director and Founder of KHAOS Inc. [formerly Charlotte's Community Outreach Inc.]. I grew up right here in St Louis and from the beginning I was a KHAOS Kid! I started my educational journey in the Mehlville School District, received my BSW from SEMO, MSW in Social Work from SLU, and honorary doctorate from Harvest Christian University! Oh, did I mention that I'm a Delta girl too. I created the KHAOS mindset to show myself as well as others that you are more than your circumstances and what has happened to you. My passion for people drives me to continuously push myself to give of my best self as an encouragement for others to do the same daily. When I'm not managing being a mom and running 2 businesses, you can find me in the gym shredding this body up [I am determined to get these abs]. I love 90's R&B and can hang with some HipHop as well.

Saundhi Cabrera Dueñas
I am a proud Afro-Latina with roots in both Latino and Habesha heritage, which gives me a deep understanding of cultural family systems and diverse communities. I hold a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a Master’s in Social Psychology, where I focused on how society and relationships impact mental health.
In my counseling work, my specialty areas include cultural family systems, marriage and family counseling, eating disorders and disordered eating, trauma-informed care, PTSD, co-occurring disorders, and supporting individuals and families navigating incarceration and reentry. I am passionate about helping people overcome struggles, discover resilience, and develop greater awareness of how they respond to the people and situations around them.
I am also deeply rooted in my Christian faith, which informs my values of compassion, grace, and restoration. For clients seeking faith-based counseling, I am honored to integrate spiritual perspectives into the healing process. At the same time, I welcome and respect clients from all backgrounds and provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for every person I serve.
Outside of my professional life, I am the proud mother of a 21-year-old who is pursuing a similar path in the mental health field. I also love giving people their first taste of Mangú con los Tres Golpes—because healing is important, and so is sharing good food and joy!

Jake Hubbard
Well hello! I’m Jake Hubbard, an MSW student at UMSL and a BSW graduate from UMSL. I grew up in Kansas City and moved here to pursue college swimming, and in the process, my life changed forever. I became a disciple of Jesus, graduated college, and I am soon to be married to my love. And none of this would have happened if I hadn’t had the opportunity to swim, which moved me here. It is my life mission to give that same opportunity to just one more child. My experience in social work and everything aquatics allowed me to be the Aquatics Director at the Boys and Girls Clubs of St. Louis. And now, KHAOS believes in me, and we are developing the first-ever holistic and behavioral health program that will pave the way for all youth to gain access to conquer the world of water and open the door to the fun of swimming.

Kiesha Thomas
Hi, I’m Kiesha — COO at KHAOS Inc., relationship-builder by nature, and someone who believes healing and leadership both start with being seen, heard, and supported.
My work in the mental health and human services space began in 2013 in a startup psychotherapy practice, where I witnessed people arrive at some of the hardest moments of their lives — and then, with the right support, begin rebuilding themselves. Watching that transformation shaped how I see people, leadership, and community. It’s still the foundation of how I show up today.
I later transitioned into the nonprofit sector, where I continued building programs, systems, and partnerships designed to support real people navigating real challenges. Along the way, I also owned and operated a childcare center for four years — an experience that deepened my understanding of families, resilience, and what it truly takes to support a community from the ground up.
At KHAOS, I focus on operations, partnerships, and sustainable growth — making sure our programs not only reach people who need them most, but are built to last. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, emotional regulation, and the belief that strong systems should always serve people first.
Outside of work, I’m a proud Parkway West alum, wife, and mom who loves slow moments just as much as big ideas. You’ll usually find me wrapped in a blanket watching a good movie, listening to 90s R&B, or cooking for family with old-school soul music playing in the background. I’m a foodie at heart, a recipe-swapper when inspired, and firmly believe well-done wings (all flats) make almost any day better.

Jahrae Posley-Jones
My name is Jahrae Posley-Jones, and I am a proud native of St. Louis, Missouri. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Social Justice from Harris-Stowe State University, where my academic career strengthened my commitment to advocacy and community-centered work. I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, where I continue to build the clinical and ethical skills needed to support individuals and communities effectively.
I am deeply committed to working with youth and young adults in the St. Louis area, providing them with the tools, resources, and encouragement needed to grow, heal, and thrive. My passion for this work is rooted in my lived experience as the oldest of four siblings. From an early age, I naturally took on a nurturing and supportive role, which helped shape my desire to work with young people. I have always believed in the power of consistent support, positive guidance, and access to opportunities—values that continue to guide my professional path.
Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I am a proud fur mom to my Toy Poodle, Romeo, who brings constant joy and balance to my life. In my personal time, I enjoy traveling, listening to music, and reading books. I strive to bring empathy, authenticity, and dedication into every space I enter, and I am driven by a strong desire to give back to the community that shaped me.

Alexis Evans
My name is Alexis Evans, and I proudly call Saint Louis, MO, my lifelong home. I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Mental and Clinical Health Counseling from Lindenwood University. My personal journey through numerous traumatic experiences, along with witnessing my family's similar struggles, inspired me to pursue a career as a Therapist for adolescent boys and girls.
The support and encouragement I received from mentors and public figures in Saint Louis were pivotal in my development, providing me with the resources needed to succeed. It's my aspiration to offer the same support and inspiration to the next generation. Working with each client is profoundly rewarding, and witnessing the incremental progress in their healing journeys brings immense joy to my heart, reaffirming my commitment to this vital work—even on the toughest days.
In my downtime, I enjoy traveling, working out, playing sports, listening to music, reading, and catching up on sleep!
